Pin Code Problems ????

I read the E-games forums on a daily basis, and I get alot of private messages complaining that they had been hacked, and need to change their account passwords or their account e-mail addresses but they can't do so because they don't know their Pin Codes.

So what they do is they call the E-games customer service hotline, and inquire on how they can get their Pin Codes And here is where the problem starts......

The pin codes for each account is given to each registrant at the end of each new user registration or included in the e-mail confirmation sent after new user registration.

Here is the standard operating procedure on how Pin Code retrieval goes.....

Through the Phone:

The Customer Service Representatives verifies the following REQUIRED Information is the following:

  1. Membership ID / User Name

  1. Date of Birth
  2. Complete Address
  3. Celfone # / Telephone #
  4. Top up Cards ( Minimum of 3 cards which should be one (1) month old)

The gamer must provide at least 3 out of the 5 required information, in order to process the pin code request. Then you Pin Code will be sent at your Web CS form.

Membership ID / User Name - that very easy

Date of Birth - chicken

Complete Address - you should know it like the back of you hands

Celphone# / Telephone # - only if the # is new, impossible if you can't give the right one

Top up Cards - after topping up EP cards most of our gamerz throw away their cards, thats the one thing you should never do, coz you'll never know what might go wrong with your account and you might be needing any of the information written on your EP cards.

You can easily give out the information asked above if you are the real owners of the account. But what most people do is that they are so in a hurry to play the games that they don't think of what information they type into the E-games registration forms.

So when the time that they need to call the customer service and get their Pin Codes arises and our customer service representatives need to verify their infos. Callers can't give the matching info that our records have, our CSRs can't give out your Pin Codes with the fear that whoever is calling is not the real owner of the account.

Sometimes in the course of some months, we might change our mobile numbers or move and change our addresses. As of now we don't have the function to update member info / profile you just have to keep record of the info you used to register.

So guys if ever you'll be creating a new account, make sure to be careful with each details you type into the online new user registration.
