eclipse premiere w/ a side of drunken fashion review. fun ensues.

so you all know that i have a seriously obsession with twilight. i can't help it. it's ridiculous and escapist. it makes me feel like a 15 year old again. i looooove it. judge me if you want, but know that you are an asshole. everyone has a guilty pleasure and unfortunately a crap ton of pre-pubescent girls and nut job soccer moms also seem to be obsessed with mine. it just takes a few insane twi-moms to ruin it for the rest of us. anywho, moving on. the premiere for the 3rd film was thursday night and the fashion was out-of-control. i really enjoyed most of it. and k.stew and rpatz, stupid abbreviations, looked ah-mazing!! my lord i hope they are doing it like rabbits.
*oh and for fun, i decided to add a drunken fashion review compliments of super drunk joe.

um, this chick is hot! and this elie saab dress is perfection. i freaking adore it. it fits her so well!!! she just looked radiant and super comfortable in her skin. i loooove this. her hair is sort of boring, but i don't think that she has much hair to work with at the moment. but other than that this look is sheer perfection.

*joe says. trash meets super trashy. tight, short, formfitting... and it's got one sleeve.

STUN-NING! holy bananas! nikki reed is beautiful, my husband would agree. this marchesa is stunning. the pale blue color is heavenly on her skin tone. love. it. the louboutins are genius.

i'm okay with this. i don't love it. the whole grecian feel of this dress works on ashley greene, but it could use some tailoring in my opinion. the gown is alexis mabille couture and it's just a little too potato sacky. she is stunning and the idea of this gown is great, but it needs some work. also, i hope it's for a role because i dislike her new "miley cyrus" hair. kellan lutz looks pretty fabulous in d&g. his hair looks weird too. 

*joe says. she looks like she's from the future, but really hot. 

so these are boring. elizabeth reaser is in zuhair murad and dakota fanning in elie saab. the zuhair murad just looks likes she's trying too hard. the sheer fabric weirdness just doesn't work for me. i don't know i don't love it. and I SWEAR dakota fanning has worn this before, right!?!? so boring. they both look nice, but this doesn't float my boat. 

*joe says. elizabeth. looks like marilyn manson got beat up and this girl stole his dress. 

*dakota. she looks like the little girl from the movies and stuff. 

tinsley korey, emily, is wearing a sue wong and honestly, i'm not impressed. i feel like it makes her look really old. or maybe it's her makeup? the bodice is adorable. but i don't like this. in the white is julia jones, leah, she's wearing a marchesa and it's ok, i suppose... it's boring, but it's alright. i just feel like these looks weren't very well thought out. just kinda flat. 

*joe says. tinsley. she looks a lot older than the rest... i don't know, it's okay. i'm more intrigued by the girl in blue behind her... 

*julia. that girl looks like a bad avatar of megan fox. 

these ladies are both newcomers. kristen prout will be playing jaspers maker and hopefully her acting is better than her fashion sense 'cause this sucks. it looks like a prom dress and the shoes, they confuse me so much. the hair doesn't make sense either.  it just looks like holy shit i'm gonna be famous soon, instead of really put together. fail. the other newcomer is, of course, bryce dallas howard who is taking over the role of victoria. suck. i'm sure she'll do a great job, i just loathe casting changes. the dress is also a major suck. this christian dior looks very "little house of the prairie" meets "pretty pretty princess". something is very off. i don't even mind the pale color against her pale skin, but the dress just doesn't come together for me. 

*joe says. kristen. that girl looks like taylor swift... is that taylor swift... it just looks bad. tim gunn said make it work and it didn't work. 

*bryce. looks like an insane librarian from the 60's who killed the blonde chick from robin hood. (after the fact he explained he meant, who looks like the blonde chick from robin hood aka cate blanchett)

we all know how much i love anna kendrick. she's a genius and probably the most talented person in the cast, buuuuuut i am so not a fan of her fashion choices. this marchesa has been done so many times, so many different ways. think natalie portman in lanvin or givenchy, both of which were perfection. this is just not right to be. the shoes might be adding to the problem, they are majorly sucking and they make her tiny legs look shorter and totally give her a cankle. she is faaaaar to cute for this. 

*joe says. i mean, she's wearing a trash bag... and that dress probably costs 20 thousand dollars. 

ah, christian serratos. so pretty. so cute. what's wrong with your hair? i couldn't find a great photo of her dress which appears okay albeit boring. but that hair. jeez. i am definitely not understanding.

so that's my review. i can't wait to see the film. i'm not going to my normal midnight show... things just weren't working in my favor this year. i might try and see it wednesday, but alas, i am just not sure. i WILL see it like the true nerd that i am... and i will love it. no matter how bad critics say it is... and no matter how bad i know it is because it's such a fun way to escape the world. hope you enjoyed the review. thanks to lionlamblove for most of the photos. and look at that picture above... they love each other so much. so obvious. love it.

so tonight was the oh-so-brilliant mtv movie awards. completely pointless, i know, but it's always fun to see what young hollywood deems "appropriate" dress and what old hollywood thinks makes them look "young and hip." i actually really enjoyed the show. it was really funny. and it reeked of twilight-mania, so that may have something to do with it. but aaactually, tom cruise as his alter ego les grossman was freaking hilarious... especially when you pair him with j.lo. i thought it was pretty damn funny. it also shows how far someone will go to promote their new movie. and on top of it being a generally enjoyable show, i actually really enjoyed most of the looks. i had a few problems, but we will get to those.

yay, you all know my girl crush kstew!! don't be mean!!! she looked ah-mazing in this d&g brocade/tweed dress! mix in the hot shoes, dainty necklace, and super sexy extensions and this look is freaking off the charts. and look she's smiling!! now, you can say what you will about this chick, but i think she is a genius young actress with tons of potential who is simply getting used to a life of being accosted by grown men with cameras. trust me, i wanna act, i wanna be successful, but i wouldn't trade my life for hers. she deals with a lot. so give the chick some slack. i think she is brilliant. 

so scarjo is another one of my girl crushes! have you seen iron man 2 yet?! run, nay, rush to the theatres and prepare to have your mind blown. i was shocked how many genius acting performances took place in a "fun" summer movie. and her kick ass moves are seriously the sexiest superhero battle i have ever seen. hot! anywho, she looked super hot in this d&g stunner. love the smokey makeup and sex hair.

eva mendes doing what she does best... looking smoking hot. this time in stella mccartney. i love how chill this all seems. nothing seems too done, but somehow the look doesn't fall flat. i loooove the print on the dress, this just works for me. 

once again a simple look that looks nice and chill. nikki hilton rocking missoni and looking like a socialite hippie. the side braid is fantastico. i mean, i dig it. what's not to like?! perfect for the event. 

i love me some nikki reed. so does my husband :| hmm. but i can't deny that she looks super adorable in this miu miu frock. i like the look. i love the colors on her olive skin... remind me how this chick got cast as a super pale blonde vampire? don't get me wrong i think that she does an amazing job, but she really isn't supposed to be a blonde, like ever. ew. 

jessica biel is quickly becoming one of my favorite people in hollywood. she just seems so real and my husband and i figure that if justin timberlake likes her she has to be awesome, right!? now, from the neck up this chick looks freaking beautiful, buuuut something is off with this giambattista valli dress. it's so demure... like almost too demure... like she's going to teach sunday school. i love the skirt and shoes, but the top is just too covered. but she really does look ah-mazing.   

yay, anna kendrick!!! i can't wait for this chick to win an oscar. she won an award for breakthrough performance and it was well deserved... she only won it because the twilight fans are literally insane, but as a sane person i am glad that she was able to get some kind of recognition for a genius performance in up in the air. now i totally dig this zac posen, but i don't like these shoes on her. i mean she is a tiny girl and all the straps on these sandals make her short legs even shorter. a suuuper high nude pump would've suited her better. 

this chicks boyfriend is hot. like super hot. like i think i'm in love hot. hope he's legal... moving on, vanessa hudgens was not the little fashionista that i have come to see her as. this jenny packham looks like lingerie... and not in a good way... like in an inappropriate virginal way. it's just kind of lifeless. blah. but i guess if you are walking 'round with zac efron on your arm, who really gives an ef what you are wearing...

amanda seyfried is a weird one. she was so funny in mean girls, but i find something a bit off about her. i have no reason to think that she isn't the nicest person in the world, but i find her hard to read. i do feel bad that skank lalohan got her boyfriend in the sack while they were still together. that's harsh. i don't hate this dress, but i do find it beyond boring... it needs a punch of something. 

i LOVE this look. love. love. love. stella mccartney is a genius and elizabeth reaser wears this look incredibly well. i think this is a great look for a non-teen star to wear to the mtv movie awards and she doesn't look like she is trying too hard... she just looks freaking hot! this is a great look. 

is anyone else as shocked as i am that paris hilton looks nice?! i mean this isn't ah-mazing, but she looks really sweet. the dress fits her perfectly and her choice of accessories are restrained and cute. i think she doesn't look like her normal hoe-bag self... good for her because she really is a pretty girl. 

this is lily collins... yes, phil collins daughter. i'm not sure why she is famous, but i love this calvin klein dress and how she has styled it! it's so simple, yet so rock 'n roll. i love the bracelets, the rings, the shoes, the bag... it's just a fun mix of color and textures. can't wait to see more from her... whatever she does...

so, if you have noticed i have not and will not include any member of mtv's reality nation... no hills, city or jersey shore here. they are a joke and i am not going to honor them by putting them on my blog, buuuut i can't deny whitney port's unbelievable style. this chick really has something special. this brilliant yigal azrouel dress is absolute perfection. the nude and yellow together is beautiful. and with the nude mesh booties and her beachy hair... this look is pretty fabulous. 

what the devil has gotten into christina aguilera? or is it xtina again... LAME... for the first time in her career i feel like she is trying waaaay too hard. i don't mind the bodice of this versace gown, but the mullet skirt fails miserably. i just don't love this latest reincarnation. her performance was just over the top and not in a great way. it's like, i'm trying to be lady gaga and it's so not working... a light up heart on your vajayjay, oh lord no!!!! i hope she goes back to sassy pinup girl christina soon. cause i don't dig this look. 

oh dear heavens. lalohan is out on the town looking like a 70's porn star. i suppose we should give her creativity points for wearing this pamella roland jumpsuit to cover her court ordered scram anklet that monitors her alcohol consumption. as terrible as she has been looking, i suppose this isn't the worst we have ever seen from her, but this look is just wow... wow. she looks like she's 40 and just in case you were wondering she's only 23. her parents should be ashamed of themselves. i recently watched an interview where she "explains" all of the craziness that took place in cannes... she is such a good liar it's scary. and sad. i hope this girl can pull a drew barrymore and reach her potential. 

jesus, mary, and joseph. what in the hell is wrong with katy perry!? i DO NOT get the wig thing. it's not funny. it's not stylish. it's not normal. she looks like an alien. and this zuhair murad dress isn't terrible, in fact, it's kinda cute for her. i love the shoes... but why does she feel the need to look like a cartoon character. this is just silly. and i am sorry, but i find her music painful. her ridiculousness annoys me. 

and finally, i haven't been able to find a single freaking picture of sandra bullock, who looked unbelievable by the way. it was nice to see her out and about after the shit storm that has surrounded her as of late. i hate that such a sweet person has had to deal with so much, especially at a time in her life where she should be celebrating, golden globe, oscar, baby... well, she was honored with the generation award and for some reason kissed scarlett johansson. it was strange and pre-planned (scarjo was mic' ed up... weird) but this is the only shot i could find of her dress. it was a super short mini and the front was a high boatneck. super cute.

so the teen choice awards were on over the weekend and like me, i'm betting you skipped them... much like our poor down and out sandy bullock. who the hell cheats on sweet sandy? what a douchebag! anywho, the people that did show up were... well... underwhelming to say the least. many of them will have you scratching your head saying, who? but c'est la vie, in our youth obbessed paparazzi culture these kids are here to stay, so i suppose i should learn their names... nah...

okay, this one is a demi lovato, she dates a jones brother and frankly, she always looks like a drag queen to me. she is waaaaay to young to wear so much freaking makeup. seriously. and this choice of dress and shoe combination is simply the most boring combo ever. the hoop earrings are bringing me back to the early 90's around the time this chick was born. grody. she is just too young to look so sad... i wasn't aware morticians were invited to the kids choice. huh.  

this is a selena gomez, she may also date a jonas brother... or she used to... or something. i actually really like the christian cota dress. it's really cute, the braid is super chic, and the shoes are nice. overall, she is very on trend and looks pretty fabulous... considering she is like 14 or 15 this look might be a bit grown up because she looks much older... this isn't bad. way to go whoever you are!?

this is a miranda cosgrove and i truly have no idea who she is... i thought she was demi lovato in another dress... but then i looked more closely and she looks way too asian... and you know i know my asians... she kind of looks like a mini catherine zeta-jones. yeah? the dress is okay, the length is kind of wonky. the louboutin's are fabulous and i dig the dark polish, but overall this is not memorable. better luck next time random disney girl!

i actually just threw up in my mouth! what is this!? who allowed them to think that this is okay behavior? the spice girls didn't even dress this badly... ok... well at least they didn't match. i honestly have no words for this catastrophic mess. the gold jacket, the skinny tie, the midriff, the gingham skirts... holy lord, i am going to vomit............ okay, no vomit, but i am scarred.

is lovely on her and it works for the event. and my god she wasn't meant to be a blonde, brunette is so much more becoming on her.  

lalala, kiss girls like katy perry... that's from a rap song... not sure which one... anyways, i don't get it... i don't get the music, the style, the fandamoniom that surrounds her... i just don't get it. i mean she's kind of a poor man's zooey deschanel... she is very pretty and has a cute voice, but i really don't get it. and this outfit, don't even get me started. what's with the stupid little bangs!?!? they don't work on anyone, but betty page... the dress is just so vegas... i'll pass. 

now, zoe saldana is a beauty and the tiniest person on the planet. this look would be great for a casual lunch date, but jeans and tee to an award show? not cool. i mean it fits her great, but she just looks so polite. i don't know, i am not feeling this. she is stunning though. 

i love me some rosario dawson, but this ensemble is soooo not flattering. she has an interesting shape... she is tall and thin, but has the biggest boobies and her waist isn't suuuper teeny-tiney, she's apple shaped... so this blousey dress just makes her look wide and she is sooooooo not wide. maybe if the waist was better defined. i expect more.  

wow, well, tyra's body looks amazing and the dress fits her well and shows it off... but the yellow accessories are just nasty! i mean that's something i would have done in 10th grade... plus, the mustard-ketchup thing is just too obvious. this is not good fashion. 

um, okay. cute outfit, it works, nice and chill for the event... but jada!? the hair!? what is going on!!? this is a tragic hairstyle on a seriously beautiful woman. i'm sorry. not good. it just seems like she is trying too hard to be a bad ass. and she doesn't need to try much, i mean, she's jada pinkett-smith for god sakes... no more of this please!? 

okay, do you know why i love this outfit? i'll tell you. a. rihanna is perfect and b. she looks like a modern day material girl. right!? she is totally like a virgin madonna in this outfit. i love the sleeves, the color, the neckline... i just like it... sure it's weird, but it works for me... plus, she's perfect.

new moon mania continues...

so my dear friends, i am taking a mini-vacay to atlanta this week and i wanted to leave you with a few blogs worthy of this momentous week, NEW MOON BITCHES!!!!!! it's here, finally, all our favorite new moon cast at the la premiere. my excitement can barely be contained, yay!!!

do you see why i love kristen stewart? we have oscar de la renta to thank for this amazing gown. i just adore the softness. it's sweet, but not boring, it's far from boring! the hair and makeup are just perfect. for the love of all that is holy, could robert pattinson be any better looking? i think i may actually love him ;) okay, well no. but boy he knows how to wear a suit. i'm very happy. rob is doing what he does best in a gucci suit.

dakota fanning is such a grown up! i absolutely adore this dress and her pair of satin burgundy pumps. i am a sucker for black cut out gowns with nude underlays. she really is just coming into her own. i hope she stays normal.

um, so yeah, this isn't great, in fact this might actually be bad. uh, ashley greene has a thing for this pageant debutant texas hair...it's not good. the dress is pretty and stunning from the back, but combined with the hair she looks like a dynasty extra.

elizabeth reaser has completely made up for those god awful shoes from my last post. she just looks hot. herve leger's bandage dress isn't exactly ground breaking, but i love the white gown with the burgundy pumps. again. this really must be a new thing. i love it.
this is a tough one, i love this dress on nikki reed and i think everything about the styling is great. it just doesn't really seem appropriate for the occasion. the shoes are killer hot and i really do like the dress...it just feels more cocktail party than major premiere...i mean ashley and kristen are in gowns. it's not so much the length...just the style...does that make sense? i'm tired, that's all you are getting.
so anna kendrick is going to be a superstar. just letting you know. this girl is crazy talented... she may want to invest in a stylist...something about this isn't working. the shoes...the bag...the drop earrings...i don't know, it's just not adding up for me, i mean the dress is fun, but just not styled well. but i can't stress enough that i LOVE this girl.

another human, christine serrano, uh...well...uh...yuck. it's definitely the lips, what is that color?next is the booties, they are far too area 51 for her disco ball dress which could be sexy with a pair of metallic strappy heels. wow. wow. wow. wow. i bet he's great in bed...holy bananas did i say that out loud!?!?! :) hehe. thanks mr. armani for making such a dead sexy suit.

this kid is smoking hot. i love that taylor decided to wear a navy calvin klein , it suits him well. yummo.
uh, well maybe it's the hair. i like the purple striped shirt...maybe it's the vest...i mean peter facinelli is a handsome guy, but i am just going to give this an alright. it's not bad. jennie garth's hair is bad.

ah, jackson rathbone. he's such a stud, i love the texture on the suit and the piping on the lapel... if only i could work on those side burns. hmm. he's a musician so we will let it slide. but just this once.
so newcomer charles bewley is super cute, but appears to be wearing his vampire costume and way too much eye makeup. some one should tell him he's not really a vampire.
