USS Arizona Under Pic"S & About Memories

USS Arizona was a Pennsylvania-class battleship built for the United States Navy in the mid-1910s.
A pause in our theme for the week to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. At 07.55 hours, the waves of bombers attacking the aircraft carrier of the Imperial Japanese Navy in the Naval Base and adjacent Hickam Army Airfield.
The attack led to more than 2,400 killed and several warships sunk, while preparing to anchor Ford in Iceland. Other military bases on O'ahu were also attacked. We stop for those wishing to remember their lives on the "day of infamy" lost. To date, there are sailors and marines who are buried in the hulls of warships sunk.
More than 2,000 survivors have found their way back to Pearl Harbor to mark the anniversary.
