The Dark Knight Rises Prologue Leaks

The Dark Knight Rises is an upcoming superhero film directed by Christopher Nolan and written by Nolan and his brother Jonathan.
I have no idea how long they remain in place, but if you do not mind massive spoilers before listening to the prologue for themselves far ..
I heard some of them, enough to hear the voice of Bane for the first time and maybe it's just because we were subtitles, but I do not really have trouble understanding what he said - and it's just a bootleg. In any case, at least you may notice that it was fucking awesome, much better than the voice we have in the audio leaked from Heinz Field some months before heard sounds.

been there, seen that...yawn.

so where are these peoples stylists? these dresses aren't bad, in fact, some of them are beautiful, but my lord haven't we seen them all before. i compiled some comparables for us to look at. try to stay awake while you read them.
okay, so demi moore is one of the most beautiful women breathing on this planet, she stunning and i wish she would tell us what work she has had done because i know that ain't natural. any who, this versace gown is okay, but as you can see penelope cruz, also in versace, did it much better at the 2007 oscars. plus demi's skirt is muuuuch less exciting... she looks like an old cha cha dancer...bore.

now, lately i haven't loved much that penelope cruz has worn and as lindsay pointed out, at least she isn't wearing black, but this donna karan is basically a much less successful ballgown version of keira knightley's AH-mazing vera wang! nothing about cruz's gown seems fresh...it's just so blah and where the devil is her jewelry! not impressed.

vera farmiga is a weird one and she has a weird taste in gowns... you got to hand it to her, she takes risks. but this is just well, weird. and this odd, sea creature marchesa gown is just not a flattering choice...in fact i don't know who this would actually look good on. in my mind it's a horrid version of camerion diaz's dior gown...diaz's accessories and stature really helps pull off such a big dress. it doesn't work for vera farmiga.

okay, i just doing freaking get it!!!! why is tina fey at the oscars!?!? boo! no. no. no. no...no...no. i realize that she is a talented writer, but i just don't get the hype. she always dresses a hot damn mess, so this micheal kors isn't so bad...IF it wasn't a head to toe knockoff of kate winslet's 2009 oscar ysl ensemble. i mean even the freaking hair is a copy...and it's just all so terribly bad. isn't she like insanely rich now!? hire a freaking stylist! hair, makeup, clothes. all of them. hmph.
elizabeth banks is as cute as pie...really. just adorable. but this versace is boring and her jewels are boring... and she has garnier-ed her hair to an odd unnatural blonde color...her makeup is the only great thing about this look. i mean she is lovely, but is basically wearing the dior by john galliano that charlize theron wore to the 2004 oscars. and guess what? it looked like crap then too! this just is the opposite of awesome... i don't get this cha cha thing... i didn't notice this trend on the fashion week runways!? did i just choose to ignore it!? well, it's heinous.
now i love me some maggie gyllenhaal, but girl is nominated for an oscar and chooses to wear something that she has basically already worn before, it reminds me of a mix of the dries van noten on the left and my favorite lanvin on the right. not cool. she really does look great in this dries van noten, but i just kinda feel robbed. i mean you are nominated for a freaking oscar, you could wear anything! ANYTHING! so why would you choose something you have already done. eh...

sigourney weaver looks great. like super hot, ripley great. but she basically added a broach and a cheapo black ribbon belt to anne hathaway's marchesa... this just doesn't do a damn thing for me. and she is so hot that she could be so much more daring and this just makes me yawn and that belt just freaking kills me!!! terrible!!!!

i love, love, love mariska hargitay, olivia benson is a bad ass! now, i am kinda confused on way she is at the oscars, but because i love her so very much i will leave that alone. but you gotta give it to me... this vera wang is pretty much a skanky version of jennifer garners odlr oscar 2009 look. right!? i mean the hair, the same... the jewels, the same... the dress, yeah you guessed it, the same!!! so confused...so very confused.

the sag awards: so very close...

so these ladies are here because one of two reasons: one, they have worn this look before or two, something is just ever so slightly off that keeps the look from being flawless. but to be fair, i think most of these gowns are pretty fabulous.
i love this gown! this monique lhuillier was originally a wedding dress, but in this shade of blue it's perfection. it fits drew like a glove. love, love, love. now this would be in my best dressed if someone would have advised ms. barrymore to wear some damn lipstick! what's wrong with her mouth? it looks like she is suffering from hypothermia. i even love the crazy hair, but i cannot get over the foundation colored lips.
i never seem to love or hate what kyra sedgwick wears, it always just seems okay. she looks very nice in this white vera wang, but when i see it i can't seem to separate it from any of the other gowns she's worn. they all kind of blend...strapless, column dresses, with a little flare in the skirt... so she looks great, but this dress...been there, done that.
now, penelope cruz has kind of let me down lately on the red carpet...this l'wren scoot dress is beautiful, but just looks like something she has worn a million times. she is usually such a fashionista that it bums me to see her repeat a look. i mean, seriously, her hair and makeup are identical to the golden globes and the dress might as well be the same, but short. although, i do actually like this better than the armani she wore last week, but please bring it for the oscars!!!!
jullianna margulies is having a hell of a comeback and good for her. she and narciso rodriguez have always worked well together and this gown looks wonderful on her...buuut, kinda boring right? i kind of want to stack her arms full of diamonds or give her an obnoxiously large cocktail ring. she just needs something else because this just kind of is for me...
carey mulligan is still topping my super cute list. i love the pink, i love the broach. i love just about everything about this, until you get to the knee...hmm. what is that weird gathering? not so much. makes her look short and like she has a gimp leg. i would almost like to hack this lanvin gown right at the knee and give her some awesome shoes. are you seeing it?
now, i wasn't quite sure where to put jennifer carpenter. but i have to admit, i like this paule ka dress. i probably would have done different shoes, or maybe a burgundy or forest green pump, but i like it. i loove the big amazing art deco earring... so, you ask, why isn't this one of your best dressed? because um, if you direct your eyes upwards...to that mess of a hair do!!! holy helmet head batman! not good. sooooo close.
once again, i loooove this alexander mcqueen and boy do i love me some anna paquin, but something about this look doesn't seem appropriate for the event. it seems far to casual. more like an independent spirit dress. it just needs more. but i am loving everything about this look. perfection.
now, this is sooo much better. after last weeks icky peach mess, it seems that christina hendricks has found a more suitable look. i love red on her. the gown seems to fit her body very well and i absolutely adore the hair and makeup. and don't get me started on those earrings! they are perfect! the gown while beautiful still doesn't do much for me. the column shape is a bit off and i always think they look funny by the hem line... just me.
how fabulous is anna kendrick? i adore her. and i adore this alberta ferretti gown. it is so cute on her and the color is just fantastic on her skin. it does kind of through me back to last years oscars, natalie portman in rodarte. and while natalie's seemed youthful, something about this looks old. i think if she had piled on more accessories that would have helped lighten the spirit of the dress. or the hair, which is my biggest complaint, just seems so old. she really is doing a great job on the carpet. she will figure it out.
gabby sidibe is rocking color my friend and with her skin tone, thank jesus. what a beautiful combination!? i love all of this, the jewels, the gown, the hair and makeup...but i am a little confused by the boobies. somehow they have been so smashed down that you loose that curve. maybe it's just the photographs, but i would definitely push those girls uuup!

let's dress these mamas...

the golden globes are just a few joyful days away and i don't know about you, but i'm freaking excited! i just love the smell of expensive things on the red carpet! well, i've never actually been there, but i bet it smells like heaven...and rich people...never mind me, it's late. i decided it would be fun to play dress up with these ladies in the gowns that i want to see on the red carpet. i had way too much fun matching the dresses to the actresses personality and style, plus, it doesn't hurt that i have copious amounts of time on my hands. let's begin.

my darling anna kendrick always looks adorable out and about. she tends to be a bit conservative in her red carpet wear and generally shies away from color, but i think that the golden globes are her time to shine... at least until the oscars... i would love to see her in this bright, vibrant purple frock by bottega veneta is just fiery enough without being too much, too daring. i think it's age appropriate and fun while looking super classy.

i think i have a girl crush on emily blunt and i am dying to see young victoria!!! damn you pensacola!! this girl is stunning and has an unbelievable body which she isn't afraid to show off. emily is pretty daring when it comes to the red carpet, but i like her best when she is super simple. i would love to see her in this naeem kahn curve hugging masterpiece. it's soooo simple, but the sleeves, the sparkle, and the neckline make it kind of extraordinary. i think she would rock this.

i love me some streep! seriously, this women is a living legend. i made bo watch julie and julia and while i found the amy adam's story line lacking, meryl streep as julia child was pure genius. now she is notorious for showing up to events without much preparation, but she's meryl streep...she can do what the hell she wants!!! but if she did want to do some style recon, i think she would looking smashing in this reem acra while remaining in her style comfort zone. i looooove this gown and think it suits streep's red carpet personality. i would probably have a bit of tailoring done to make sure she didn't look shapeless.

i think this may be my favorite! i loooove me some true blood and as a side effect i now love me some anna paquin. she is a super talented young lady and man i want her to win again! her body is out of control so i think she needs to rock something tiiiiight! so when i saw this donna karan she was the first person that came to mind...other than myself looking fabulous. i think this gown is a nice evolution from last years sexy, but simple frock. this steps it up a bit.

even if you don't dig all of her fashion choices you have to admit, marion cotillard isn't scared of fashion, she's fearless. and lucky for her she has made friends with the designer who does daring best, so i have no doubts that she will wear something by her beloved dior. i loved this red dress and thought who better to wear it, it's very retro and super sexy... how french? right!?

rachel, rachel, rachel. so glee is the best thing on television, i've said it a million times, if you aren't watching it, you need to. the first season's dvd is already on sale for like 25 dollars. buy it. and this lady, lea michelle, is part of the reason it's so fabulous. she is uber talented and a cutie to boot. now as far as her style goes she is a relative newcomer, but one thing i have noticed is the short, short skirts...so i thought maybe she should try something a bit different. i love this carolina herrera and think it's cute retro flair would suit her personality. it's award appropriate without being a gown.
january jones is always among my best dressed and this year i think she needs to continue to think outside of the box. and she needs to rock this boho chic oscar de la renta, it is one of my favorite gowns on the runways because it doesn't look like anything else out there.

penelope cruz rarely takes a step out of bounds when it comes to looking fabulous. she does it all, sexy, innocent, volume, sparkle, feathers...she can wear anything. i think it's about time for some over the top sexy. i am in love with this michael kors gown. the shape is perfect for showing off her outrageous curves and the pattern, which rocks my socks, is perfectly appropriate for the character she is nominated for. love it.

i had such a hard time with sandy bullock. i didn't want it too similar to what she generally wears, but i also didn't want too go crazy. she is going to win...at least one award, so she is going to be decked out, but it's been a while since we've seen her in a big ball gown, so i'm not sure she is going to go the route, maybe for the oscars. i went with these two gowns because i thought that they were both stunning and memorable. plus, they both look comfortable. the first is john galliano, i think this dress is soooo super sweet and bullock loves to look cutesie on the red carpet, so viola. the second is a lela rose asymmetrical stunner. i looove white and gold, i think it's so regal...

so there you go! what do you think? did i get it right? no? say what? who are you looking forward to seeing walk the red carpet? or do you even care? let me know! you know i love feed back...it makes me feel loved.

a bunch of hot chicks and crap-ton of botox.

the botox is all from nicole kidman's marble forehead. which begs the question? what was wrong with her forehead before? nothing? she has never not been hot! now she looks like an alien...and don't get me started on those lips...I digress. Rob Marshall's babe-fest musical nine had it's new york premiere and all of the sexy ladies made it out. i can't wait to see this movie, too bad the hubby will never go see it with me, hmph.
penelope cruz, oh how i love thee! in vintage chanel this chick seriously knows how to tear up the red carpet. i love the soft retro waves, simple makeup, and dainty jewels. sex siren, hello!? i mean this woman does no wrong! i love her and no, it's not just because i have been told i look like her, which i love!!! ;)
my expressionless princess. i love nicole's cutie prada. i like bubble hems, so shoot me? the shoes are kinda, eh? but overall i think she looks nice...underdressed? maybe. over botoxed? definitely.
marion cotillard is an amazing actress and a so-so red carpet dresser. i hated her oscar gown two years ago, she looked like a mermaid porn star, not cool. so, i don't always love her choices, but this dior is pretty spectacular. i love all of the pieces, the necklace, the cute little nugget purse(even though i generally dislike when celebs carry purses, that's why you have "people"), the necklaces, the dark nail polish, and the relaxed hair. she looks pretty friggin amazing.
so kate...huh...well. i love chanel. i love the hair and makeup. but...well...it appears your dress has a tail? and maybe it's just me, but it looks like an afterthought and well, like a tail. kate hasn't been my favorite on the red carpet for quite some time, she used to be boho chic with a messy sophistication and i kind of miss that. remember that valentino from the golden globes many moons ago...so fabulous.
fergie-ferg looks pretty fabulous in her marchesa gown. the big dark hair, the flowy white chiffon, the sparkly belt, jewels, bag. i am okay with all of this. it's not super fashion forward, but at least it's not a hot mess and fergie knows a lot about hot mess. remember the pee? so strange.
