now read this...

so i have a pretty nerdy take on literature...my favorite books consist of twilight, bridget jones, and anything jane austen...that's super nerdy, like uber nerdy. now i have decided over the past week that i need to read more, so i started reading another twilight-esque novel, which was pretty terrible, but damn it i am hooked, they were sooooo silly and absolutely juvenile in a way that the twilight series is not...now i am not saying that twilight is a feat of literary greatness, but somehow that childish aspect of an adult novel didn't creep in very often and if the dialogue was better it would have been perfect in my mind, but the immortal series by alyson noel...is silly, but still interesting...well, i finished the first two books and was really jonesing for a good grown up vampire book...hmmm, nerdy...and then i started reading a book i have seriously had for months, dead until dark, the first book in the sookie stackhouse collection written by charlaine harris. now this is the series that true blood is based on and while i am super nervous about ruining my favorite television show, the books are soooo good. they are full of hysterical southern humor, not to mention some pretty intense lovin, but it's written sooooo well, that you never feel like you are reading a dirty romance novel...it's just freaking hot. I love being able to have an inside look into sookie's mind, which is fascinating, so vibrant, innocent, yet not completely naive. The books are complicated and interesting, but not a difficult read at all, but I did have to look up one word...which i can't remember...huh...they are so good that i went out and bought all 9 of them today...9 books, but when you finish a book a day...that's really not a lot. hell, i need a library card. but i love books and these have the most beautiful covers! well, if you do decide to read them, please let me know what you think!!!

i feel pretty, oh so pretty...

how cute am i? i rocked this last week and felt so stinking cute...no one saw me except for bo and pensacola's finest. stupid florida. i will rock it again someday, when i am surrounded by people who can tell me how adorable i am!? i bought the dress at a super cute store that no longer exists, i hate recessions and babies. the shoes are my cynthia vincents. the lipstick is mac russian navy. and the hair is texas sized. i love the back of this dress, which you could see if i wasn't so stinking pale. the best part of this picture are all of hammond's toys on the floor, he is so messy. okay, that is all, be well and wear uncomfortable shoes.

tell me i look like a rockstar...

so i love my new red lipstick, i am rocking it like it is my job...which is the only job i seem to have, so i am showing my dedication and it giving red lipstick my full attention. yeah, shoe job, not so much. i hate it, but really it's for the best, i imagine it would have been a huge headache...c'est la vie. so here is a little outfit i like to think of as my rockstar day look. hanes little boys xl t-shirt, new gap skinny jeans, my fave foley and corinna mid-city tote, and my steve madden gladiators, which i always wear when it's supposed to rain, they are plastic-y and cheap so i don't care if they get ruined. i threw on two of my favorite necklaces and good to go. i felt good. sorry for the terrible lighting we were in a hurry to catch (500) Days of Summer, which i will have to write about because it is sooooo stinking good. i love hammond in the background on the sofa, he's so stinking cute!!!! i miss you all.

Don't Stop Believeing by Journey

This is a very inspiring song....

Don't Stop Believing by Journey
(sand by our very own Arnel Poineda)

Just a small town girl, livin' in a lonely world
She took the midnight train goin' anywhere
Just a city boy, born and raised in south Detroit
He took the midnight train goin' anywhere

A singer in a smokey room
A smell of wine and cheap perfume
For a smile they can share the night
It goes on and on and on and on

(Chorus)
Strangers waiting, up and down the boulevard
Their shadows searching in the night
Streetlight people, living just to find emotion
Hiding, somewhere in the night

Working hard to get my fill,
everybody wants a thrill
Payin' anything to roll the dice,
just one more time
Some will win, some will lose
Some were born to sing the blues
Oh, the movie never ends
It goes on and on and on and on

(Chorus)

Don't stop believin'
Hold on to the feelin'
Streetlight, people

Don't stop believin'
Hold on
Streetlight, people

Don't stop believin'
Hold on to the feelin'
Streetlight, people

Don't stop

Hello to all, it is final. Aug 20 was my last day as CM, GM and product manager of Audition Dance Battle. It had been 2 years and 8 months na halos araw araw tayung nag kukulitan. Nag haharutan sa EB.

I never treated the Audition community as "just gamers or players of the game" but as my friends. I started and worked hard for Audition PH back in 2006. Sana kahit wala na ako sa E-games / X-Play, work hard to keep the community and friendship alive. Help CM Sefie to manage the community.

There was never a day that I never thought of, championed and defended my Audition Community to management as much as I can to offer you the best gaming experience that I can. I will miss Audition Dance Battle, Audistas hu had been a part of my life for almost 3 yrs. The best 3 years of my life. Love u all.

here's to skinny jeans and red lipstick...

so i wanted to buy things today. like an uncontrollable urge to purchase. i was reading bo's esquire and came across an article with gap's main man patrick robinson discussing his new fabulous 1969 premium jeans. i had to have them. there are 7 different styles and multiple washes in each. and for a limited time all of the jeans are 20 dollars off, so 50 bucks for nice pair of jeans, i'm game. i bought the always skinny in the deconstructed medium wash, pictured above, and love them. mostly because i fit into a size 0!!!!!! crazy, i always wear a 2 at the gap, so imagine my surprise when they were too big. awesome. i also picked up red lipstick & liner from mac for the fall. i've decided to start wearing it all the time. it could be my thing for a bit. i purchased their matte lipstick in russian red, it's perfect, not too orange, not too burgundy. so that is my shopping spree for the day. i wish i was satisfied, i just loooooooove buying things. hmph.

to buy or not to buy...

so i meant to start writing product reviews ages ago, but couldn't decide on what to write about, well i have finally found a product worth a shout out. i have been yearning for a clarisonic brush, but at 200 bucks it is just outrageously out of budget. while watching tv a few weeks ago i saw my imaginary bestest best friend jennifer garner hocking neutrogena's newest tool the ageless restoratives total skin renewal contraption. i looked it up and thought for 25 bucks it was worth a try and if you go to neutrogena's website you can print out a 3 dollar off coupon. the starter kit comes with everything you need, batteries included, and a months worth of renewal puffs. the tool replaces your exfoliating procedure 3 days a week and promises to rewind a year of aging in just one week. well, i don't know if i look any closer to 24, but i know that my face feels softer than it has in years. after i use this little machine, my face is so soft and absorbs whatever i put on it. so after week one i am a fan, but i will keep you posted on any changes in my affection.

the verdict: buy, even if you don't look 18 again, it's still killer exfoliation.

My Lady Gaga experience was a blast, I had so much fun!

hotness everywhere!!!!

so along with a ton of summer movie openings and fancy shindigs, comes a ton of fabulous outfits. and i mean fabulous!!!! so i thought i would share some of my faves, i also got bo to give me his opinions, trust me you will want to read them. he's a funny guy. let me know what you think? do you have any faves? any you want me to find on a normal persons budget? your wish is my command. read on! be girly!

this was at the costume institute! i love this outfit! Rodarte is one of my faves the way these girls use fabric is out of this world. also, i love the shoes that kirsten dunst paired them with! grey is so chic! see...isn't this fun!?! BO'S OPINION: she looks like a half naked mummy

oh ashley greene, how i love thee! this girl could not be any cuter, well maybe with the help of a D&G floral mini dress! i even love the shoes. all of these girls are wearing the best shoes! BO'S OPINION: it's okay, she looks like she is wearing lingerie...i like it.

omg i love this. before you start dogging me, let me say, i agree this is not traditional beauty, but i think that k.stewart gets it right every time. she dresses for herself and no one else. plus, when your hair is cut in a joan jett mullet shag, you don't really have options. plus i love this picture. this dangerously spiky dress is rock & republic and what about those shoes? i love them, even though i totally dig her converse thing this is a nice change. BO'S OPINION: she looks like a musician, it's cool.

okay, so you know this has to be a great dress if i am willing to compromise all that i believe and place a photo of her on my blog, but even i can't deny this naeehm kahn gown is absolutely stunning. her hair and makeup are just spot on! well played heigl, well played. BO'S OPINION: it's nice, looks like a real red carpet outfit...i like the color.

saw gi joe. it was awesome. sienna was great, even if she was playing second fiddle to her other costars...and by other costars i mean her massive cleavage. she was off promoting when she wore this amazing outfit! do you see the forest green peep toes!?!? i'm salivating. she is the epitome of breezy. BO'S OPINION: it's casual, i like it.

so when i first saw troy...i remember thinking "really? that's helen...not so sure" well, i can say with full certainty that diane kruger is the most beautiful women on the planet! i love her!!! she is such a fashionista and she never hits a wrong note. i love this jason wu frock! she does the crazy and most interesting things, but never looks overdone, amazing!!! BO'S OPINION: that...looks...retarded. it looks like a bird pooped on her shoulders.

so camilla belle is new to being uber famous, but i knew her way back when...when she starred in the rocking remake of when a stranger calls. trust me it's awesome in all it's badness. but even if you aren't into bad horror films you have to admit this former face of vera wang is a stunner. way to bring back the full eyebrow. i love this max azria gown and the color is just amazing on her skin! add a rocking pair of grey patent pumps and forget about it! i might have ditched the bag, but this is still a great outfit. BO'S OPINION: it's good. she's hot. it's pretty, but she looks cracked out.

my angie is back!!!! and in leather!!!! how freaking hot is this women? i think that men who don't find her attractive are just pansies who are afraid of how absolutely hot she is...besides she would probably crush them. i like a powerful chick! this killer outfit is brought to us thanks to michael kors. surprised? i was. this is so her! edgy, yet somehow crazy elegant. i love the strappy sandals and the giant ruby cocktail ring! finally angie! BO'S OPINION: it looks like mr. and mrs. smith. it's hot.

Well be seeing you soon!!!!

--------------------

oh harry...

as my second favorite book, i was expecting a lot from this movie. i have seen it twice and am still not quite sure if i liked it, loved it, hated it...well, that's not true i didn't hate it. i finished rereading the book moments before going to see it the first time so i was fresh on the book high. enough of my nonsense, the movie was beautiful! it is one of the most visually pleasing of the 6 films. i'm a huge fan of how dark the film was because i was a little worried that they would lighten up the story line for the sake of the young fans. the acting was fantastic, as always, i loved draco!!!! well done tom felton. The story was gripping beginning to end and the ron/hermione thing is just the cutest thing ever. so that sounds like i liked it, but i did have some grievances...
SPOILER ALERT, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED:
so my big issue was leaving out the bulk of tom riddle's back story...i think it is really important to know that information because it is instrumental in harry figuring out the final horcruxes on his own. i think it is really important to know that he wanted a job at the hogwarts...just some of that stuff really gave harry and the reader a more solid handle on voldemort and how he thinks. so they cut all of that out, but set the weasley's house on fire for no real reason, other than it looked really pretty...that took a good solid 7 minutes...we could have fit in one or two more memories that were actually in the book...
bottom line, it was a beautiful, well-acted film that was really enjoyable watch. what did you think? were you a fan or did harry fall short this time?
