CHInoyTV Taping - CHInoy Youth / CHInoy Speak - CCA Manila Feature

Last July 7, 2011, I was assigned by CHInoyTV to do the segment CHInoy Youth together with Kathy Uy. This segment talks about not just what Fil-Chi youths are into but Pinoys as well. So we went to CCA Manila (Center for Culinary Arts)  to find out what our their school has to offer to our CHInoy and Pinoy viewers.

1st we got a tour around CCA Manila and got to see the school's facilities like the their classrooms, kitchen's, the dinning areas where the students get to practice serving and table decorating, the offices, laboratories and alot more. We were really impresses with everything we saw, the facilities are good and really equip and made for learning.

As we went on with the tour, we had the chance to pass by the baking kitchens where everywhere you turn smells ooohhh sooo good! The smell of freshly baked bread, and the sight of newly decorated cakes, donuts! Can't really help but to think of eating! But we have to work and continue with the taping and to finish the segment.

After the tour, we had the chance to interview some of the key people of CCA Manila. With that we learned alot more about the history of the school, how CCA Manila had maintained the quality of their education through out the years and how the school had become a popular choice among the youth who really wants to learn the art of cooking and baking and preparing food.

Here are some pictures I had the chance to take.

Here are some pictures of me and Kathy while practicing our questions for the interview

Si Kathy cheating pa sa codigo hehe!

After taping the CHInoy Youth segment, it's time for a change in venue & wardrobe. So we head to CCA Manila's USDA Demo Kitchen. It a state of the art kitchen where we taped another segment CHInoy speak. CHInoy Speak is a segment where we - the hosts show the viewers how to translate certain things, items, situations are in Mandarin.

In this segment.... Common kitchen utensils and equipment. I must admit that I am not very very good in speaking Mandarin, but I survived this segment! Hahahahah!

I would like to thank Miss Lovely Hollera of CCA Manila for spending the whole day with us, I really enjoyed and learned alot. Also Thank you CCA Manila for accommodating us, great food! Loved the experience!

valentino: the last emperor

greetings lovies. so, as we all know i am a lazy blogger... but when i saw this picture of anne hathaway rocking the much fussed over valentino gown from the genius film valentino: the last emperor i had to post immediately. she looks like a freaking fairy and it's glorious!!!! i love the messed up hair, funky etherial "crown" of sorts, and the red lip is just AH-mazing. what i wouldn't give for her skin?! i'm pale but in a gross olive green like way, nasssssty. this is just perfection. i dare you to say something negative about this look... i double dog dare you :/
and seriously if you haven't seen valentino: the last emperor you really need to. it's a genius look into the world of fashion and obviously into the mind of valentino... he's a bit crazy and that makes it all the more fun. so, if you love fashion, you should definitely see it.

have you seen valentino: the last emperor? what did you think? do you think anne hathaway is doing the dress justice?

megan fox who!?

now, i don't know if i have ever truly divulged how big of a super nerd i am... let me assure you, i am. i am a monster dork. i love lara croft & various other video games, lord of the rings, harry potter, star wars, twilight, buffy, moonlight, dr. who, alias, terminator, batman, ironman, spiderman, elektra, xmen, and yes, transformers... i even loved the second very crappy transformers... and when i heard that the uber-talented megan fox, insert laugh track, was leaving the films i was left heartbroken... well, really i didn't care, but still, when i heard that a supermodel, rosie huntington-whiteley, was taking her place, i was not surprised 'cause michael bay is a giant horn-dog pervert, but then i figured she couldn't be any worse than megan fox. but honestly, the way this chick has been dressing on her promo tour i could care less how well she acts. plus, she dates jason statham and she's a brit... she's gotta be pretty bad ass, right?
naeem kahn
i die. this is absolute perfection. holy bananas, how tall is she!?
burberry
the hair is a bit off, but this gown is out of control, the neckline is sheer perfection. i love that she isn't wearing a necklace.
 antonio berardi
this is her megan fox moment... personally i think foxy does the red dress better(examples here and here), but this is still incredibly hot.
 michael kors
this color is delightful. right!? holy lord this is like sex.
the row
dude, she loves those nude pointy toe pumps. i just think that this is so sophisticated and chic. she and statham would make some sexy ass kids.

so what do you think of darling rosie's style!? do you dig!? are you are super nerd too!? tell the truth!! what's the nerdiest thing you love, do tell... make me feel better about myself. ha.
