how hot is she? i love when gwen does a nude lip, it's funny how shocking it is on her. everything about this outfit is flattering. this chick is my hero. it's getting colder out so you should definitely bust out your black and colored tights, tis the season!!!
in j mendel, diane kruger does what she does best, look hot! i just love the modern shaped skirt and unassuming fabric/color mixed with some sexy heels and a hot lanvin clutch.
i adore this pattern! jason wu just might be my hero! this pattern rocks my socks and the draping is simply perfection. i love the silver shoes.

so she goes from sexy fun cocktail dresses, to an amazing narcisco rodriguez gown just blows me away. i love that she edges it up a bit with amazing nude lace up pumps. kruger carries the cutest clutches, they are always interesting, but never overpowering. use this in your daily life, you never want to be all matchy-matchy with your bag and clothes, you also don't want it to be too much...

so it's not a surprise that gwen stefani and diane kruger made the list, diane thrice. these ladies are seriously hot and know how to enhance that with clothes. and apparently it's going to be a new thing to do the asymmetrical skirt, shorter in front longer in back...the mullet of gowns if you will. prepare yourself.

so i just saw this outfit and i seriously died! it is absolutely bananas!!! perhaps, like me, you have been wondering where the hell amy smart as been? remember when she was everywhere? well, she showed up to the fulfillment fund's annual stars 2009 gala and looked like a trillion dollars! holy crow, i'm in love! i have been waiting for some one to show up wearing these stella mccartney cutout leather leggings. i am in love! for serious! i love the leather mixed with the soft white of the blazer and top. i also love that she went with cognac colored pumps instead of a more obvious black gladiator heel. now the only problem is that this outfit is a stretch for the pocketbook, the leggings alone are 900 dollars!!!! so i tried to give you the same outfit for a heck of a lot less.

So the breakdown,

The blazer is free people and runs $148. i think the studs on the pockets make up for the lack of design on the leggings. i also found a blazer with a bit more length, it's a slightly more ladylike. but if you have the ass, by all means wear a shorter one.

The liquid leggings are hue sold at bloomingdales they retail for 30 bucks. now these don't have awesome designs cut into them, but they are cheap and hot!

The shirt and clutch are both from forever21, both are under 15 dollars.

The pumps are aldo's waxler pumps and cost $90. i love these shoes, one of these days i am buying the nude patent ones. these shoes drip sex, but in a reserved sort of way...

So, there you go an adorable outfit with pieces that can be re-worn countless ways all for under 300 dollars! The blazer and the pumps are staples for your wardrobe therefore worth the extra dough. this outfit could even work with a pair of slim black pants or dark jeans! what do you think? pretty close right? would you ever wear this outfit? what pieces do you like? dislike?

what's the big stinking deal?

so, i am not turning my blog into a trashy gossip column, i swear, but this is just peeving me. why are people giving such a rats ass about what suri cruise is wearing on her feet? apparently, people the world over are outraged that mini-tomkat is wearing super cute little mini-heels. they aren't screw me stilettos, they are cute barely an inch, thick heels. i think they are adorable and they clearly don't inhibit her from having fun and running around. why do people concern themselves with this nonsense? i mean, so if she wanted to wear heels and katie said "absolutely not!" then people would say that they were stifling her creativity and not letting her make decisions for herself, blah blah, so she let's her wear them and now she's forcing her little girl into gender roles and forcing her to grow up too fast. this is why i hate children, too many rules!!!! i mean for me this is just cute, when i was kid i wanted to dress up all the time, i wore my mom's shoes everywhere i could! i had tons of "dress up" shoes that were worn to the grocery store, church, riding my bike, just about everywhere, except for maybe school. i mean she is wearing a princess costume in one of the photos, jeez people. she is clearly a very happy child, can't that be enough!?!? so, what do you think? am i way off-base? or completely right?

the olsen twins do it for less...

so i don't think i have shopped at jcpenney since i was 12, but i might have to change all that! my girls mary kate and ashley have created their own fantabulous line called olsenboye, whatever that means. i care not. the clothes are pretty cute and the shoes are even cuter! i want those oxfords sooooo bad! the line runs from 20 - 50 bucks, which is well within the realm of reason. above is the video preview of their collection. i can't wait until Nov. 6! i wanna see! hopefully nasty florida jcpenneys will get the line because we don't get any of the "designer" target lines. my god i hate this place.

boots, boots everywhere!!!!

so for all of you who made fun of me! dude, p-cola gets chilly! it was 64 in my house when i woke up this morning. brrrrrr! so these are two of my recent cool weather outfits. i thought i was pretty cute, but then again don't i always ;)

bo was at work so i had to rock the timer. it was hard to get the right angle. i was like 10 minutes late to meet lydia trying to figure the damn thing out! so this is just a pair of target leggings, with a long t from banana, eggplant cardi from martin & osa, and of course the new cynthia vincent boots in their debut performance. they are amazing. 3 people asked me where i got them! i love them!!! it was nice to break them in shopping. (also, can you find hammond?)

so i completely forgot i owned these boots! love! they are the most comfy boots i own! they are matisse and i bought them at soles in atlanta. they were like 100 bucks. love them. the jeans are my skinny gap jeans, shirt is a tunic from banana, same cardi from martin & osa, belt is old navy...i bought it when i was in high school and seriously this is the first time i have ever worn it, i couldn't ever seem to get rid of it, and my hat of course is my lydia made delight.

fashionably late for fashion week!!!

fashion week was amazing! mama seriously looked through every single fashion show and i was blown away! i loved just about everything. it makes me want to shop and buy things...then go shop some more. i die. i had so many pictures that i had to group them together. the major trends were sheer fabric and sparkle, sprinkled with a touch of menswear influence and lots of color/pattern. short skirts are still a big deal, good news! i love the new shapes, tulip with a bit of origami influence. i also really want a pair of pleated ankle cropped pants. i totally dig the new sparkle, shimmery iridescent fabric mixed with flat casual fabrics. also, i need to stock up on belts! what do you think of the fashion to come? what trends do you see yourself in? and what will you leave for the supermodels?

have you seen zombieland?

if the answer is no, then why the hell not? it is hilarious! bo and i have been anticipating this film for quite some time now and it completely lives up to the hype. omg! i haven't laughed that hard in a really long time. it is the most delightful mix of comedy and and horror zombie flick! i really think this might be my favorite movie of the year. woody harrelson is unbelievably funny and still gives the movie a huge piece of heart. jesse eisenberg, emma stone, and abigail breslin are the perfect supporting cast and really i just can't say enough good things. this movie is such a delight!!!! it is a really interesting story between two very different men just trying to survive a world full of bloodsucking, flesh eating zombies, how poetic?

**and just to save you some running around after, bring a box of twinkies to the theatre, trust me! now, nut up or shut up!!!!!!

so that's not my hand, but what can i say? i'm super lazy. i just put this nail polish on and i just can't figure out if i like it or not. it's a part of opi's new matte collection and it's weird. my polish job is not even close to as nice as the one above. it's difficult to apply because it dries super fast and then looks all lumpy bumpy. i like it, i am just going to have to practice applying it. my fingernails feel like chalkboards and i can't put on hand lotion, so i am leaning towards not for me, but i am going to wear it around for a bit and then make my final decision. interesting.

these are just a few of my fave outfits worn out and about to premieres, fashion week, and all the other fancy things celebrities get paid to go to. i love all of these dresses and these people, so enjoy. and also, you should probably run out and get a pair of platform pumps black, gold, nude...any color really...i mean all the celebs are doing it!!!

omg! emma watson is totally hot! she really knows how to dress her body and her age. this burberry prorsum glittery mini is just another stunning example! i can't get over how freaking fabulous and seemingly normal this kid is! amazing.
michelle monaghan always dresses really really well, even if i do find her a bit, eh. the only movie i love her in is kiss kiss, bang bang, best movie ever!!! i love the length, the fresh face, and the platform gold stripper pumps.
how stunning is my girl? seriously, for someone who has no earthly idea how to dress herself she always looks amazing, thanks rachel zoe! jen loves a gucci mini-dress and she looks fantastic! she has two kids, insane, i totally need to go to the gym now...
ah, annie hathaway! i love this girl and she has fabulous taste...thanks again rachel zoe. i love this bright golden-orange lela rose. fabulous. i love the stunning color against her super pale skin.
now it's no secret that i am not a gossip girl fan, but as we all know i am a huge sisterhood of the traveling pants fan, pathetic i know! i am also a huge fan of this fun, over the top marchesa number, with nude platform pumps. love.

as if you didn't need another reason to love freida pinto, well her you go! she wore this amazing louis vuitton ensemble to the paris louis vuitton show, of course. i just can't get over this, i mean jaw drop, literally! head to toe perfection! the electric blue with her skin is dazzling! hot! look at those booties, crazy hot!

my dear friend and twin jen wysowski married darling duane, the filipino, last saturday and she looked beautiful. the wedding was beautiful. my shoes were beautiful. i purchased the dress from a local boutique lotus and the shoes were on sale at aldo. the shoes need a heel pad in the right foot, but other than that they are surprisingly comfy. bo looked super duper handsome in his grey pinstripe suit. i love the blue/white stripe with the blue paisley tie. plus, his new cole haan cap toes are sexy. he's such a dreamboat. and hammond the dog is always a handsome devil, look at that smile?!?!

mama's back!

hi darlings! i am home and managed a vacation without the slightest bit of a tan!!! success! jet lag has taken a pretty rad toll on my adorable self, but i am getting by. greece was amazing! absolutely stunning, the greeks are gracious and friendly people...the men were absolutely a fan of me. wow, they are persistent and every bit as hairy as you would imagine. the food is amazing, in fact i have been dreaming of greek salads, stuffed vine leaves, saganaki, gyros, and souvlaki. yum! we worked it off by walking ridiculous lengths during the day. santorini is an amazing place and i would recommend it to anyone. good times. so i promised photos, so here are some of my favorite outfits from the trip and some of my favorite views.

so can you tell i had been dry heaving all morning? yeah, not good. but i did look extra skinny, plus gina got to have a little adventure trying to find a pharmacy and some crackers without creme in them. what is it with europeans and their wafer creme filled crackers? the red lipstick made me feel awake.
i look unhappy. i wasn't. i was very happy, i was going to the beach. this is a little number from forever21 which i bought online, it's polyester which is ick, but it is so cute that i forgive it. it's perfect for a beach cover up. and i'm glad i brought the scarf, it was chilly at the beach. below is the same day and i am sitting with a friendly cat.

out to dinner and i look so cute. the skirt is from forever21. the cardi is hollister, the belt is target, the scarf is outlet benetton, and the bag is tj maxx. my mother-in-law bought it for me and it was perfect when i didn't want to carry my huge bag. i love this outfit.
target dress. i look pretty, oh so pretty. i gave this dress to my sister because really the only time i could see myself wearing this is in the greek isles.

all three pics are in oia, where gina and i stayed. we loved it. so beautiful and romantic, gina and i held hands. seriously, we did. the sunset was beautiful. everything was beautiful. below is the black sand beach, more like black rock in kamari...this is supposed to be overdeveloped... ha!

my favorite outfit of the trip. it was too windy in the islands to have pretty hair, so my only good hair day. i looked really hot and trust me all the boys thought so too. i loved this and felt cute and european. love.
