ok, i love this girl and not just because she is the star of twilight, which i also happen to love. kristen stewart is a serious rockin' actress. she is only 18 and she has such a fantastic body of work. not only does she take her work seriously, girl knows how to dress. i love the ease that she has on her red carpet. she always looks a little out of place in the limelight, but her clothes always reflect her chill, most likely high on narcotics personality. she is barely more than a stick figure, so she chooses outfits that fake curves and emphasize her i don't give a shit attitude. 

advice to take from kristen. when in doubt throw on a cute jacket. don't bother with time consuming updo's, in fact washing your hair is totally optional. give a straight figure some omph with bubble skirts and fabric details. when applying makeup, focus on the eyes. and whenever possible rock converse all-stars.

in honor of a glorious st. patty's day, i wanted to list some of the most memorable green ensembles from the stars we love. these hot ladies might end up getting pinched anyway. do you have a favorite green gown? is it listed above? or gasp...did i forget it? tell me about it.

the celeb who knows how to rock it, is new to the blog. my style mavens are fabulous women, who with or without help, know how to make themselves look good. we should all take note of how these stars put together their outfits. truth is, we can all dress like movie stars by finding the styles that work for us. 

i decided to start off with one of my favorites, anne hathaway. not only is she a fantastic actress, she really knows how to flatter her figure and her stunning face. with the help of celeb stylist rachel zoe, anne has truly developed her own fantabulous sense of fashion. she has a cool and laid-back approach to dressing, yet retains a classic sophistication. she keeps her color palettes fairly neutral, but manages to never appear dull. she finds new and interesting designers to keep her in the high fashion loop without ever looking pretentious. please god someone cast me as her sister, i could so pull it off.

advice to take from anne. keep things simple. when in doubt, throw a belt on. keep color palettes warm and neutral. look for interesting textures. keep your red lipstick and liquid eyeliner handy and you are good to go.  

if you were a shoe.

walking the streets of dc after a gluttonous meal of family style italian food, a giggly group of friends thought it would be funny to decide what shoe we would be if we were indeed shoes. i should probably clarify that there was vino involved, but really not that much. it was such a good time, that i thought, hell, why not blog about it? if you think about it, it's really a quite interesting way to self-examine you and your friends personalities.
big surprise! lauren = the black dior extreme gladiator sandal. as many of you know, they are my favorite shoe ever and according to the sisters mallari, it fits my personality, so yay! it is the perfect amount of classic and edgy. it is a good girl shoe trapped in bad girl clothing. i love the versatility of the shoe...i guess i am versatile. basically, i'm awesome, these shoes are awesome, so i think it is a perfect fit. 

tricia = christian louboutin nude patent leather pumps. they are classy with a sexiness that sneaks up on you. much like tricia, miss sophisticated smarty-pants and then you throw on the bass guitar and bam! rockstar sexy! it's like the blue hair...it surprises you.

chanelle = frye carson boot. they are a little bit country and a little bit rock'n'roll and all kinds of relaxed, which is perfect for island chic chanelle. they are smart and badass while remaining comfy and chill.

pilita = betsey johnson lidia peep toe wedge. the satin is shiny and cheery much like our dear pilitam. the shoe is sassy and packed full of fun, which really is quite perfect. i love the balance of sweet and 80's punk-rocker. it is such a good match i can't even believe it. 

jenn = chanel quilted flat. it is sensible and tres chic. they are classic and sophisticated and will never ever go out of style. i just love how fun and vintage, but thoroughly modern they are. 

so, do you agree with our choices? you should -- they're perfect, i dare you to find better. also, i am dying to know what shoes would you be? tell me, tell me.

Hello sa lahat ng Audista....

Thank you very much for attending the event last Saturday - March 7, 2009 sa Robinsons Place Manila. Hope you had a lot of fun, with the same fun that me and the other staff and GMs had. Super pinaghirapna namin itong event na ito pero everything turned out na super worth it nung nakita namin na ang daming tao.

Unti unti nang nag iimprove angmga events natin, and hopefully soon we can accommodate more and mas maayos and mas masaya for all the Audistas.

The most memorable part of the event for me was Dice & K9's last song... My favorite "Eargasmic" and hinding hindi ko malilimutan yung pag kanta ng Audition family ko ng "Happy Birthday". Naiiyak ako everytime I remember that moment.

what a show. it's official, brit is back. well, a pseudo not as dancey stripper whore like version of britney anyway. man, does she love a stripper poll. i wasn't expecting back in the day britster, so i was fairly impressed with her spryness and busta move skillz. when she greeted the crowd, an obviously overwhelmed britney looked like she wanted to vomit. the show was a disjointed miss-mosh of the intended circus erotica theme, bollywood, street hip-hop, and a stint with dueling guitars, rockin' out with their...you get it. overall i found the show a bit self-indulgent, but she was doing what she wanted and at this point i just have to say good for you. i hope the money she gets from my 40$ t-shirt, i hang my head in shame, doesn't go to pay k-fed's babysitting fees. oh, and before i forget, the pussycat dolls are HOT. all in all, i had a fantastic time rockin' and shakin my booty. looks like brit did it again. yes, that was a reference to oops...i did it again. i better stop before my brilliant idea of doing an entire blog with lyrics from britney's songs comes to fruition .

These are just a few of the trends from the runway that have really made my heart flutter. i love all of the glitter and romance. It seems that we are going back to a time with the slouchy kathrine hepburn pants, the pocketed jumpsuits, and true hardcore glamour. it all makes me very excited. i can't wait to wear my onsie. i'm a bit nervous. i will have to post when i finally gather the courage to wear it. i love the look of evening, the great little skirts with truly interesting details. if i posted everything that i loved from the runways(new york, paris, milan) there wouldn't be enough space on the internet. that is a lie. i just didn't feel like sorting through all of them. i am so lazy. which leads me on a tangent...so i am so bummed, i thought i brilliantly came up with the title the lazy fashionista for my twitter account. sadly, someone already has a blog of the same name, even though she hasn't posted in two years. bitch. so are you excited about any trends for the upcoming year? tell me. tell me.

unfortunately, gina and i were not thinking ahead and didn't take any photos...so the what not to wear biloxi edition will have to wait for another day. instead, i searched the runways for the most absurd fashions we are supposed to be wearing this year. now, i understand the theatrics that surround fashion week and that the shows are fun and crazy. the makeup and hair supposed to be completely off the wall and i totally get that. i like it. with all of that nonsense you are supposed to still see pieces that make you jump with joy. on the other hand, sometimes you have incidents like the ones above. what am i, a normal person...well, a fabulous fashion princess normal person, supposed to take away from this. i find them silly and pretentious. and anyone who tells me i am just not sophisticated or creative enough to get it, will seriously get a punch in the face. this is supposed to be ready to wear and the only place i would be ready to wear these is a costume party. and i wouldn't be happy about it. i always prefer slutty cat. or nurse. well, anything as long as it is slutty.
